"If it's dead, just walk away"

Situation 1
Have you ever had a friend (new and OR old but suddenly you think he/she's interesting) that you like and you want to get click with but he/she doesn't towards you? And you tried to keep your so called "friendship" alive (by doing A & B or more) but still the same in the end?

A) you asked him/her out (casual hang out) several times but the answer is still "not interested"?
B) sms, phone calls, comments on FS/MS/FB but no reply? (or maybe he/she did reply but with only the answers to your questions but no questions from him/her to keep the conversation "alive", . . . you know what I mean)

e.g.
A: Hey how are you doing?
B: Fine.
..........................

..........................................
A: What are you up to?
B: Not much. Trying to finish up my maths assignment.
....................................................................
A: I don't like maths. Never good at it.
B: L-O-L
....................................................................
A: Buddy. I've got to go now. I'll talk to you later. Have a nice day.
B: Thanks, you too.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
(I wonder if B is afraid that if he/she asks questions, he/she might go to hell or die the next day?!.)

or even worse, monologue/a one-way conversation.

e.g.
A: you like to play the guitar? me too~
B: *somewhere, . . . "dead"*

C: I love your blog. Very interesting and useful. Keep up the good work.
Saying "thank you" won't harm/kill you; that's what B should have said but
B: *somewhere, . . . "dead"*

Situation 2
Have you ever had that "someone"/crush you can't stop thinking about and you've tried almost everything to make him/her like you the way that you like him/her but failed miserably?


P.S.1. What if one day you end up in one of those conversations BUT that someone is someone you knew quite well? your BF/BFF? (been there)
My answer? *Ouch* but "I Can Live With That!"

P.S.2. you can't force someone to like/love you. but what can you do when everything you do, all you can think is him/her? and you feel like you MUST HAVE him/her or else, "it's the end of the world"?

Should you STOP TRYING
or
NEVER GIVE UP ON THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SMILE?


Well, you know what?
"If it's dead, don't go digging it up every 5 minutes to check if there's a pulse. It's dead, walk away!"
